Slow Leadership will be joining in the first Blog Action Day on October 15th.
Our mission here at Slow Leadership isn’t just about slowing down and creating a better work/life balance: it’s all about creating a more civilized world, at work and outside. That’s why we’ve decided to put our weight behind this initiative and help get everyone talking about a serious issue for a change.
The event is open to blogs of every variety and size. If you’d like to find out who is involved, who is behind the initiative and read through their list of FAQs, click here.
Better still, find out about getting your blog involved. Here’s how the organizers describe the event:
On October 15th, bloggers around the web will unite to put a single important issue on everyone’s mind - the environment. Every blogger will post about the environment in their own way and relating to their own topic. Our aim is to get everyone talking towards a better future.

I RSS’ed this blog because it was talking about management and leadership issues as a set of ideas.
IMO, this isn’t the core of what Slow Leadership is about. Now it’s becoming another advocacy blog on an issue that is already tiresome and polarizing.

I’m sorry you feel that way, Steve.
Environmentalism is neither the core of what Slow Leadership is about nor is it a topic that you’ll be seeing on this blog, whether tiresome or not.
The organizers of Blog Action Day allow bloggers to interpret the topic in any way that they want. Since Slow Leadership is about the workplace and the working environment, that’s how I shall interpret the topic when the time comes; not global warming or anything like that.
I hope this reassures you.
Keep reading, my friend.

Went to the site and found it very interesting. Particularly like that each blogger participating can do it in different way, from different angles, and the way they feel most comfortable with. Thank you for the tip.
